What is the 卓越基金? Quite simply the 卓越基金 is the WHS Booster Club for Academics. Begun in 1995, the 卓越基金 helps offset budget cuts to the academic programs. Its sole purpose is to help maintain the academic excellence your student enjoys at WHS.Every dollar raised by the 卓越基金 stays on the WHS campus. 卓越基金形式

谁从中受益? YOUR student benefits from the 卓越基金. Each year, WHS teachers submit requests for materials and equipment to aid in academic instruction. The Site-Based Advisory Committee disburses the funds to fill those teacher requests according to the goals and priorities established by the committee. The 卓越基金 has made substantial contributions over the years to almost every academic department, to the Westwood 图书馆, and to help upgrade technology.

Who contributes to the 卓越基金? Parents, teachers, school organizations, and members of the Westwood business community. Look for the Westwood 卓越基金 plaque in the Hall of Honor for the list of the hundreds of specific names who have contributed over the past twenty years.
